Responsabilidades e atribuições:

Volvo Financial Services LATAM is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Data & AI journey, helping build and enhance scalable data solutions that support analytics, artificial intelligence, and strategic business initiatives across the region. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integrations. • Support the evolution of the Azure-based Data Platform and Data Lake. • Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and operational stability. • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes. • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Teams, and Global Data initiatives. • Support the delivery of data products, dashboards, reporting solutions, and AI initiatives.

Requisitos e qualificações:

Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. • Experience with modern data architecture and data integration. • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. • Experience with ETL/ELT development and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. • Knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and data governance. Nice to Have: • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data engineering technologies. • Experience with AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives. • Background in financial services, banking, insurance, or leasing. • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
